Totem Visuals is the trading name for Des Northcott, and anyone else who joins me on a project.

After various mundane jobs, I trained myself as an airbrush illustrator. Following a few succesful commissions I invested in a PC, immediately recognising the potential advantages it had to offer (not least of which was Undo!).

This was in 1991, and I began training myself in all aspects of computer graphics on a (mostly) trusty 486. Most of you won't even know what that is! Never mind, suffice to say it took some time before those potentials were fully realised by the technology, but I kept on top of every advance, upgrading hardware, software and skills to match at every step. Now I have state-of-the-art equipment and software, with many years experience behind me, and access to other talented individuals to help out on larger projects.
